Venerdì 11 Dicembre abbiamo potuto godere di un bellissimo clima natalizio con il nostro piccolo coro. La Cripta dell'Abbazia di Santa Giustina, con la sua ottima acustica, è stata la migliore scenografia che potessimo aspettarci. Recependo in maniera davvero entusiasta le indicazioni del Maestro i ragazzi hanno saputo interpretare cantando molto bene le sette canzoni natalizie preparate in lingua Inglese.
Tra le canzoni presentate “We Wish you a Merry Christmas”, “Jingle Bells” e, la più gettonata da tutti i ragazzi, “Merry Christmas Everyone”. Dopo aver esaudito la richiesta di un "Bis" per quest'ultimo pezzo, le nostre simpaticissime Teachers madrelingua hanno sorpreso la platea mettendo in essere una simpatica competizione canora tra i bambini ed il pubblico stesso all'interno del quale erano presenti molti genitori ed amici dei nostri ragazzi. L'atmosfera era davvero molto allegra soprattutto quando abbiamo cantato tutti insieme “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”.
Subito dopo l'esibizione del coro abbiamo avuto l'occasione di stare tutti insieme per apprezzare un delizioso e gustosissimo buffet. Questo momento si è rivelato un'ottima occasione per molti per chiacchierare in inglese potendo mettere così in mostra le competenze acquisite.
Un grande ringraziamento a tutti coloro che hanno partecipato all'esibizione e soprattutto a tutti i nostri bambini che si sono esibiti magnificamente!
Per tutti noi davvero una serata da ricordare!

What a fabulous Christmassy time we had on Friday evening with our Little Englishland Choir!
The setting was wonderful in the crypt of Santa Giustina in Prato Della Valle. Following the hand gestures and instructions from out professional choir teacher, the children did a fantastic job of singing seven beautiful Christmas Carols in English including “We Wish you a Merry Christmas”, “Jingle Bells” and everyone’s favourite “Merry Christmas Everyone”.
The two mother tongue British teachers then surprised everyone at the end of the performance by leading a singing competition between the children and the audience full of family and friends. The atmosphere was very jolly as we all sang “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” together. After the choir, we enjoyed a delicious buffet and chatted all night allowing everybody to practice their English conversation skills.
Thank you to everybody who joined us and a huge thank you and well done to all the children who performed! It really was a night to remember!
