Buona lettura e buon ascolto!
Turning Up the Heat at Englishland
Week two of Englishland has been hot, educational and lots of fun! We’ve been enjoying learning about presidents and playing water games in the Italian sun.
Our radio team has grown to eleven this week, with plenty of big and small campers. This week we interviewed a teacher, learned how to cook some delicious food, reviewed a film and even hosted our own game show! In this weeks blog, we’ll tell you how to take care of horses, what the future holds for you and tell you a little bit about our favourite music!
Horses are very intelligent, but they can also be unpredictable. For horse riding, you need to know some rules.
- Never pass behind a horse because it might kick.
- If the horse is nervous, don’t touch him.
- When you are giving him some food, you need to keep your hand flat with your thumb next to your hand.
The rider must dress in a particular fashion. They must wear white pants, a helmet, a black or red blazer, gloves and riding boots.
Horses love eating, but if you want to have a horse you need to know what you can give him. Horses can eat:
- Sugar cubes
- Stale bread
